This is to inform you that Dr. Rastin is needing a further extended personal leave from the clinic. Unfortunately, she is not returning to Central KW Family Health.  We recognize this is a very difficult time for Dr. Rastin and her family, our clinic, and you, her patients. We are working to find a locum physician to cover her practice for the short term while she sorts out the future plans for her practice.  In the meantime, you have the following options:

 

Short term options:

• If your issue is urgent, we will see you in our after-hours clinic.  Urgency is subject to triage by our nursing staff.

• If you are booked to see her in the next 2-6 weeks, we are hopeful we will find a temporary physician to see you, if we are unable to secure a temporary physician, we will notify you at least 48 hours before your appointment if it needs to be cancelled.

• Finally, if you must use a walk-in clinic to keep yourselves and your family safe, please do so.  We have relaxed the rules during this time for Dr. Rastin's patients.

 

If you feel you need to relocate your care to another clinic, we will transfer your records free of charge.  Please note if your records are extensive, you may have to pick them up on a USB, as there are size limits with fax and privacy concerns with email. 

 

We appreciate this has been a stressful time but please remember that our staff are working hard to serve you.  We have a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy regarding abuse towards any and all staff of
